R1's are great, super comfy flip flops. They are light and never wear out. I've run in them, rock climbed and even hiked in them with no fear the straps will ever pop out or break. The flexible sole sticks to even wet surfaces and is perfect for driving. I've even used R1 soles to resole some of my other flip flops!
